Delta power tools have been steadily providing top quality and reliable woodworking tools to its clients ever since it first started business more than 90 years ago. Aside from its famous powerful stationary tools, it has recently expanded its coverage in the cordless power tool market by introducing its Delta cordless power tools.

Delta tool's founder Herbert Tautz started his one-man company in his garage in Wisconsin in 1919, making small tools for home shops. It was initially called the "Delta Specialty Company". His vision was to create and manufacture power tools that would make woodworking applications simple and easy. It later expanded its operations into the light industrial machinery, and up the ranks with its continuous tools innovations for craftsmen all over the country.

Its first commercially successful product was the first and only 10" saw called the Unisaw Cabinet Saw that the first machine operated viable tilting arbor cabinet saw in 1938. It also set the standard for the 14" band saw which was so popular then and now, that almost all band saws of different brands made design copies from it.

Today, Delta continues its long heralded history and tradition in manufacturing and designing top quality, high performing, reliable and innovative power tools, equipments and accessories for the woodworking professional.
